Job Opportunity: Licensed Physical TherapistOur organization, a dedicated provider of specialized hand therapy and comprehensive rehabilitation services in the Jackson area, is looking for a Licensed Physical Therapist to become part of our patient-focused team. In this position, you will assess and treat individuals with various orthopedic, post-surgical, and upper extremity issues, emphasizing rehabilitation of the hand and upper limb.Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough musculoskeletal and functional evaluations, creating personalized, evidence-based treatment strategies, and implementing hands-on interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities aimed at restoring function, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall quality of life.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-on-one treatment to patients.Instruct patients on home exercise programs.Educate patients and their families on injury prevention and post-operative care.Regularly reassess patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.Document evaluations, daily notes, and discharge summaries accurately and promptly in our electronic medical record system, ensuring compliance with clinical, legal, and payer standards.Collaborate with fellow therapists, physicians, and staff to coordinate care and deliver high-quality service.This role is perfect for a therapist who is enthusiastic about hand therapy and functional rehabilitation, values individualized care, and is eager to enhance their skills in a specialized setting.
