This role focuses on architectural, performance, and functional simulation to model, verify, and optimize AMD hardware designs.Responsibilities:Conduct CPU and GPU architectural simulations to analyze hardware performance.Evaluate performance, power consumption, and thermal characteristics.Verify CPU and GPU functionality using advanced simulation tools.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in HPC, AI/ML, gaming, and data centers to improve system efficiency and performance.Key Skills:Experience with AMD's internal simulation tools and third-party software like Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor Graphics.Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python, and simulation tools like gem5 and QEMU.Strong understanding of CPU/GPU architectures and simulation techniques.Expertise in performance analysis and optimization for complex hardware systems.Preferred:Certifications from AMD Developer Central and AMD Simulation courses.
