Senior/Simulation Engineer (Development)
We are seeking a talented Senior Engineer with expertise in CPU and GPU simulation for high-performance computing, AI/ML, gaming, and data center solutions. This role focuses on architectural, performance, and functional simulation to model, verify, and optimize AMD hardware designs.
Responsibilities:
Conduct CPU and GPU architectural simulations to analyze hardware performance.
Evaluate performance, power consumption, and thermal characteristics.
Verify CPU and GPU functionality using advanced simulation tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in HPC, AI/ML, gaming, and data centers to improve system efficiency and performance.
Key Skills:
Experience with AMD’s internal simulation tools and third-party software like Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor Graphics.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python, and simulation tools like gem5 and QEMU.
Strong understanding of CPU/GPU architectures and simulation techniques.
Expertise in performance analysis and optimization for complex hardware systems.
Preferred:
Certifications from AMD Developer Central and AMD Simulation courses.
