Materials Management & Warehouse Lead
Job Location: Springer Mine & Milling Complex, Imlay, Nevada, United StatesType: In person at the job locationDuration: Full timeReports to: Supply Chain Manager - USPurposeThe role requires a structured and execution-focused professional who will establish and lead the materials management and warehouse function for the project. The position is central to ensuring that all materials—from long-lead equipment to commissioning and operational spares—are planned, received, stored, controlled, and handed over in a manner supporting schedule, cost control, and operational readiness. The role will also be instrumental in establishing SAP-based materials management processes and ensuring a seamless transition from project to operations.Scope & Accountability Define and implement the Project Materials Management Plan Follow approved Blue Moon policies, processes & procedures Establish material flow concepts from supplier through to installation Define strategies for free-issued, contractor-supplied, bulk and tagged materials Set and enforce preservation and material handling standards Lead materials master data standards and governance in SAP Ensure alignment between engineering BOMs, procurement data and warehouse structures Support SAP configuration and operational readiness for materials management Coordinate with procurement and expediting to align deliveries with site readiness Track long-lead and critical materials against construction and commissioning priorities Mitigate risks related to delayed, early, or non-compliant deliveries Define receiving, inspection and QA/QC interfaces Design and implement warehouse, laydown and inventory management concepts Ensure inventory control, traceability and accuracy in SAP Support material issuance to construction and commissioning Manage reconciliation at mechanical completion and system handover Classify and hand over spares to Operations Manage surplus, obsolete and excess materials Submit materials management and warehouse reports as defined by the company.Authorities Own and enforce materials management and warehouse processes and standards Stop or reject receipt, storage or issuance of non-compliant materials Govern materials master data and inventory control in SAP Approve warehouse structures, storage concepts and material handling practices Escalate and mitigate material-related risks impacting schedule, cost or quality Direct priorities for material availability aligned with construction and commissioning needs Initiate corrective actions related to materials handling, storage or data integrity Approve deviations from materials management procedures within authority limits.RequirementsMinimum 5 years' related experience in supply chain, procurement and logisticsBachelor's degree in a related field preferredKey InterfacesEngineering, Project Controls, Purchasing, Expediting, Logistics, Construction, Commissioning, QA/QC, SAP Implementation Team, and Operations.Pay Range And Compensation PackageCompensation and benefits details will be discussed during the interview process.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices and encourage applications from all qualified individuals.
