Job Location: Springer Mine & Milling Complex, Imlay, Nevada, United StatesType: In person at the job locationDuration: Full timeReports to: Supply Chain Manager - USRole OverviewThe role requires a structured and forward-leaning professional who will contribute to building and maintaining the purchasing function from the ground up in collaboration with the Supply Chain team. The position will be central in the development of the mines and associated processing facilities, covering both operational purchasing and follow-up of any PMC procurement activities during the project phase. The role will also be instrumental in implementing and sustaining SAP and establishing a purchasing function ready for operations.Scope & AccountabilityExecute day-to-day ordering of goods, equipment, and services for the siteFollow Blue Moon policies and proceduresIssue RFQs, evaluate bids, and select suppliersEnsure purchases meet technical specifications, budget, and delivery timelinesMaintain supplier databases and monitor market trendsFollow up any PMC contractor procurement activities for equipment packagesAct as SAP superuser for purchasing processes in the USEnsure compliance with procurement procedures and company standardsCoordinate with engineering, construction, and project teams on purchasing needsMonitor and report purchasing status, risks, and performanceSupport development of procurement strategies and sourcing plansSubmit purchasing reports as defined by the company.AuthoritiesApprove purchase orders and supplier awards within delegated authority limitsOwn and enforce sourcing and procurement processesNegotiate commercial terms with suppliersSelect and onboard suppliers in line with company standardsReject or stop procurement actions not meeting requirementsEscalate and mitigate supply risks impacting cost, schedule, or qualityControl and maintain procurement data and governance in SAPInitiate and support contracting strategies with stakeholdersApprove deviations from procurement procedures within authority limitsDrive supplier performance management and corrective actions.RequirementsMinimum 5 years' related experience in purchasing, supply chain and logisticsBachelor's degree in a related field preferredKey InterfacesEngineering, Project Controls, Expediting, Logistics, Construction, Commissioning, Warehouse & Materials Management, QA/QC, SAP Implementation Team, and any PMC Contractors.Pay Range And Compensation PackageCompensation and benefits details will be discussed during the interview process.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices and encourage applications from all qualified individuals.
