Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Bedford, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,210 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 6/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Bedford, Indiana, 47421! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years minimum License: Must have valid nursing license prior to start date. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS; TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Patient ratio experience of 4:1 - Charting system experience preferred Description: We are currently a 15-bed emergency unit in a critical access hospital. This position requires working three 12-hour shifts. Local candidates are not accepted. A minimum of two years of experience is required. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are mandatory. TNCC certification is preferred. Required skills include: - Ability to work in a general emergency department with both adult and pediatric patients. - Competence in cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. - Proficiency in IV therapy and phlebotomy, including blood product administration and central line care. - Knowledge in medication management, such as continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressor administration. - Experience with neurological and psychiatric cases, including cerebrovascular accidents (CVA). Professional skills include: - Adherence to isolation precautions and triage protocols. - Experience with patient care in diverse age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. - Working knowledge of respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, and pharmacy support. Travelers will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. All travelers must work two out of three major holidays. Any employee must have a break of 12 months before applying as a traveler.
