We are looking for a dedicated Coordinator Guest Services like you to be a part of our team.The Guest Services Coordinator promotes connections between the hospital and potential and existing patients, employees, and the community. Responsible for the administrative and clerical support of the front desk area. Oversees efficient processing of assigned clerical tasks/projects, must provide an exceptional level of customer service to all hospital customers, assist with the patient flow management, prioritizes and maintains the workflow processes of the front desk, fielding and directing questions/issues to the appropriate department director if needed. Greet guests with a smile and offer assistance proactively. Familiarize yourself with hospital campus, understand patient/visitor needs and answer facility-related questions. Use campus map/directory and MH Cure to locate patients and guide visitors while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPPA guidelines and HCA policy. Ensure wheelchair availability, and in the absence of teen volunteers, assist guests with wheelchair transport. Keep info desk and lobby clean, organized and well stocked (office supplies, masks, maps, seating arrangements and tables) coordinating with Environmental Services (EVS) and Plant Ops as facility needs arise. Supervise teen volunteers in wayfinding efforts escorting guests throughout the campus, providing wheelchair transport and ensuring timely delivery of patient mail and delivery meals. Collaborate with operational staff to ensure signage and campus maps meet guests' needs. Strong observational skills with an understanding of public spaces and willingness to inform security of concerns. Provide volunteer onboarding support during lighter afternoons including corresponding with perspective volunteers, receiving new applications, maintaining orientation registration, and moving volunteers from applicant to active status.What qualifications you will need: Superb communication and problem resolution skills: proven track record. Associates degree preferred. May substitute experience for Education.
