Recognized as one of Ethisphere's 2026 World's Most Ethical Companies for the fourth consecutive year, Clarios continues to set industry standards for operational excellence, ethics, and environmental responsibility.About the RoleClarios is seeking an experienced Advanced Quality Manager to lead all quality-related activities associated with a new OEM product launch in Holland, Michigan.This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing quality strategies that ensure successful product launches, customer approvals, and long-term production excellence. The successful candidate will serve as the primary quality liaison between manufacturing operations, corporate leadership, and OEM customers while leading a team of quality professionals throughout launch and production phases.The position requires a combination of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on engagement within a manufacturing environment to drive world-class quality performance.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Leadership and Product LaunchLead the overall quality strategy for new product launches.Develop and execute quality plans aligned with launch milestones and production goals.Ensure successful completion of APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, PFMEA, Process Validation, and other quality deliverables.Drive readiness activities to support successful customer approvals and Start of Production (SOP).Establish quality systems that support both launch and long-term manufacturing operations.Customer and OEM Relationship ManagementServe as the primary quality representative for OEM customers.Manage customer communications related to quality performance, launch readiness, and issue resolution.Ensure compliance with all customer-specific requirements and standards.Support customer audits, plant visits, and quality reviews.Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and collaboration.Manufacturing Quality ExcellenceMaintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor during launch and production activities.Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to identify and resolve quality concerns.Drive structured problem-solving initiatives and root cause analysis activities.Monitor process capability, inspection standards, and quality control systems.Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and operational performance.Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop quality professionals.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.Communicate risks, challenges, and quality performance metrics to leadership teams.Ensure alignment between quality objectives and operational priorities.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of seven years of experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments.Proven experience leading quality functions during product launches or plant startup activities.Strong knowledge of OEM customer requirements and automotive quality standards.Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Validation methodologies.Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing processes.Background in electronics manufacturing or advanced assembly operations.Experience supporting high-volume automated manufacturing environments.Strong understanding of quality systems, production ramp-up, and operational excellence initiatives.Experience working directly with OEM customers and supplier quality organizations.BenefitsClarios offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Medical, dental, and vision insurance starting on the date of hire.401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching.Tuition reimbursement programs.Paid time off and flexible spending accounts.Short-term and long-term disability coverage.Basic life insurance and business travel insurance.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Parental and caregiver leave programs.Employee discounts and wellness programs.Access to modern workplace amenities, including fitness and dining facilities at select locations.Career advancement opportunities within a global industry leader.Equal OpportunityClarios is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where employees are valued for their unique backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
