Location: Canton, GA, United States, 30107Company: Chart IndustriesEnsuring Chart’s Success…What Will You Do?Prepare pipe for welding, which includes cutting, grinding, cleaning, and bevelingMeasure and cut pipe using drawings, blueprints and math skills to determine length and angle cutsCuts pipe using a variety of tools, such as reciprocating saw, pipe cutter, cutting torch, pipe cutting machine, and/or other small hand toolsOperate forklift for material handling and general production support activitiesPerform minor maintenance of cleaning activities of tools and equipmentObserve and comply with all safety rules and company policies and proceduresPerform other duties as neededPerform all duties to OSHA and ISO specificationsYour Physical Work Environment Will Require…Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this role, including close vision.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration.
