You will experience a strong emphasis on Agile, Lean, and SAFe principles, professional growth, and cross team collaboration.We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in delivering high-quality software solutions. This role requires a strong foundation in software development (3+ years hands-on experience) combined with 3+ years of experience as a SAFe Release Train Engineer.The RTE will serve as a servant leader, coach, and program-level facilitator who ensures alignment, execution, and continuous improvement across multiple agile teams. A deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is essential to effectively guide teams, manage dependencies, and ensure predictable delivery of features and releases.Your ImpactLead and facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) execution, including PI Planning, ART syncs, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt eventsDrive alignment across teams to ensure execution adheres to SDLC principles, including design, development, testing, integration, and technical release readinessIdentify, manage, and mitigate cross-team dependencies, risks, and impedimentsPartner with Product Management, System Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth flow of features from concept through deliveryEnable continuous improvement using metrics such as velocity, flow, predictability, and qualityFoster a culture of built-in quality, DevOps adoption, and CI/CD practicesEnsure proper implementation of Agile, SAFe, and SDLC governance practices across teamsCoach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on Agile best practices and effective executionDrive transparency through reporting, dashboards, and program-level KPIsSupport release planning, execution, and coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders.What You'll NeedBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field. 5+ years of overall experience3+ years in software development roles (developer, lead, or architect)3+ years as a SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or similar Agile leadership roleStrong and practical understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, testing, integration, and release managementProven experience leading large-scale Agile programs using SAFe frameworkHands-on experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or similarStrong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management practicesAbility to analyze and improve flow metrics, predictability, and delivery performanceExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and engineering teamsSAFe certifications (RTE) is a plusExperience in enterprise multi-ART environments is a plusExposure to cloud and microservices is a plusExperience building ART dashboards and KPIs is a plus.This role requires deep understanding of SDLC to ensure seamless flow from feature definition to deployment, alignment across development and QA, early risk identification, and continuous improvement in delivery predictability and quality.
