As a Software Engineer - Java focused, you will be part of the Enterprise Middleware and Online Security Technology team supporting innovative authentication and security features. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Software Engineer - Java focusedLocation: San Francisco, CAPay Range:$70What's the Job?Own design, development, testing, and support for complex application components and secure authentication capabilities. Partner with cross-functional teams to decompose features, estimate delivery efforts, and meet sprint and release commitments. Design and implement secure, resilient, user-friendly authentication journeys utilizing risk signals, telemetry, and policy-based decisioning. Contribute to modern identity solutions including Passwordless Login, FIDO2/WebAuthn/passkeys, and Risk Based Authentication. Build and consume REST APIs, gateway patterns, and reusable services aligned with architectural standards. What's Needed?Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks; Angular preferred. Strong experience with secure web application development and REST API integration. Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Gateway, or similar service-based architectures.
