The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications that support our financial and accounting operations. This role requires a blend of software development skills and an understanding of financial principles to ensure that our systems are robust, accurate, and aligned with our business needs.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain software applications tailored to accounting and finance processes.Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Develop and optimize financial reports, dashboards, and data analytics tools to support decision-making and regulatory compliance.Integrate financial systems with other business applications and ensure seamless data flow.Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and efficiency of financial software.Ensure software applications comply with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to best practices in software development.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in software development and finance to recommend improvements and innovations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience as a software developer, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.Demonstrated experience in accounting and finance, with a solid understanding of financial principles and practices.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or SQL.Experience with financial software applications, ERP systems, and accounting tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations related to financial data.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with financial reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar.Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management concepts is a plus.Certification in accounting software or financial management systems.
