We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions and ensuring smooth HR operations across the Credit Union.Position Overview:The HR Generalist will be a key player in managing a wide range of HR responsibilities, with a particular focus on payroll processing using ADP. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of HR practices and regulations. This role requires a commitment to confidentiality and a collaborative approach to problem-solving and HR management.Key Responsibilities:Payroll Processing: Administer and process payroll using ADP, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. HR Administration: Perform a variety of administrative and technical HR functions, including job analysis, employee communication, benefits administration, worker’s compensation, FMLA administration, compensation, and training and development. HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with employment laws and assist with labor relations and policy recommendations. HR Information Systems (HRIS): Manage and maintain HRIS, including the development and upkeep of HR-related internet and intranet sites. Employee Support: Conduct exit interviews, assist with employee training, and support the HR Director with day-to-day activities, report preparation, and special projects. Professional Development: Stay informed about HR trends and best practices by participating in professional associations and attending relevant training events. Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in HR, with a strong emphasis on payroll processing using ADP. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in HRIS and ADP payroll systems. Thorough understanding of employment laws, benefits administration, and HR best practices. Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
