Job Title: Utility OperatorLocation: West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, United StatesEmployment Type: Full-TimeRole OverviewThe Utility Operator supports quarry operations by safely operating heavy equipment, maintaining site conditions, and assisting with material handling and production activities.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate quarry equipment including crushers, conveyors, and loadersAssist with loading, hauling, and processing of raw materialsPerform routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipmentMonitor operations and report hazards or equipment issuesSupport maintenance teams with repairs and troubleshootingMaintain accurate production and equipment recordsAssist with site setup, cleanup, and operational organizationFollow all safety and environmental proceduresQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment (haul trucks, dozers, excavators, forklifts)Basic mechanical knowledge (hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic systems preferred)Strong safety awareness and communication skillsWork Conditions & RequirementsWork in outdoor industrial/quarry environmentsExposure to dust, noise, and heavy machineryTravel or site assignment as neededThis role includes physical activities such as lifting, walking, and operating heavy equipment.
