Job Summary: The Construction Manager reports to the Director of Construction and works with franchisees and internal resources to help facilitate remodel and new restaurant development. This position works closely with franchisees, internal vendors and outside consultants throughout the planning and execution phases of construction projects. The candidate needs to assist and consult with franchisees during projects, track project progress, report to management and ensure timely project completion. Roles & Responsibilities: Manage franchisee relationships relative to construction of new restaurants and remodels within specific region. Develop scopes of work for remodels and new builds. Manage permitting, construction and turnover phases of projects. Monitor project budgets, costs and schedules. Collaborate with internal vendors, franchisees, architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate quality projects. Ensure all construction projects are in compliance with the brand's overall image standards and initiatives Present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether orally or in writing Demonstrate clear and concise directives and reporting in meetings Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or in related field required Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time Demonstrates working knowledge of building components and systems, building codes Working knowledge of the restaurant industry is preferred Working knowledge of ADA compliance Registration as an architect, engineer or general contractor preferred Six-Sigma or other process improvement theories are a strong plus Experience in construction management, architecture or engineering CPM (Certified Project Manager) preferred Cost estimating for remodel and new restaurant construction Demonstrates strong technical and project management skills based on construction industry experience to effectively manage multiple projects Demonstrates intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to create documents, deliver presentations, and analyze data Demonstrates effective communication skills in influencing and consensus building used with working with franchisees and on internal projects Multi-tasking a must Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint Strong Leadership skills Travel within specific region and/or for specific meetings expected Salary: Base salary range of $125,000 $135,000. Base salary for this position may vary based on relevant factors such as experience, education, location, and skills. This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual discretionary bonus plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the incentive program, based on individual and company performance metrics. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity grants pursuant to the Company's long-term incentive plan.
