Staff AccountantContract-to-HireStart ASAPOnsite and hybridWe are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in the daily operations and financial health of our organization. This position focuses on accurate financial reporting, account reconciliations, and process improvements, providing opportunities to grow into financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic business partnership.Job Responsibilities:Daily Cash Reconciliations: Reconcile daily cash activity, investigate discrepancies, and resolve variances promptly.Month-End & Year-End Close: Assist in preparing financial statements, account reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.Account Reconciliations: Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and resolve discrepancies.Process Improvements: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline accounting processes.Role Growth Opportunities: Conduct financial analysis, develop forecasts, create presentations for leadership, and act as a trusted business partner to department leaders.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.1–4 years of experience in accounting or finance.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Experience with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Business Central).Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Full-time employees are also eligible for benefits options such as health coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401k benefits.At Advanced Group, our commitment to diversity and inclusion in every part of our organization is crucial to fulfilling our mission and demonstrating our REAL values.
