LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Location: Horsham, PA Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Alternate weekends Pay: $64.27/hour Job Type: Contract Work Setting: Onsite Openings: 2 Job Overview A-Line Staffing is seeking a licensed LTC Closed Door Pharmacist for an onsite opportunity in Horsham, PA . This position is ideal for a pharmacy professional with strong clinical judgment, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Candidates with long-term care experience and familiarity with the AS400 operating system are preferred. Responsibilities Accept and dispense prescription medications Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns Ensure medications are dispensed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations Review prescriptions to ensure suitability and accuracy Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions Answer patient questions regarding prescription and non-prescription medications Provide patient support and medication education Compound medications for internal and external use as needed Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures Supervise pharmacy technicians, clerks, and other pharmacy staff Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies Identify drug-related issues and communicate effectively with healthcare practitioners Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacy interns, and other healthcare professionals Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required Active pharmacist license required Ability to work 2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Ability to work alternate weekends Strong communication, documentation, and patient counseling skills Ability to work onsite in Horsham, PA Preferred Qualifications Long-term care pharmacy experience Experience using AS400 Shift Differential 2nd Shift Differential: $2.50/hour 3rd Shift Differential: $6.00/hour Benefits Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
