EDI Service Specialist I

Overview You will support the Connection Services team by monitoring and troubleshooting WorkforceNow EDI/Carrier Connections for assigned clients, ensuring timely enrollment data exchange with third-party vendors. You’ll collaborate with account managers, engineers, brokers, and clients to optimize setups and resolve issues, especially around Open Enrollment and year-end file scheduling. You will act as a technical resource, communicate progress, and stay current with evolving EDI templates and systems. This role combines technical troubleshooting with partner-facing collaboration to safeguard accurate data transmission and successful benefit enrollments. ResponsibilitiesMonitor production-status EDI/Carrier Connections for assigned book of businessMaintain and troubleshoot WorkforceNow EDI/Carrier ConnectionsInvestigate and resolve defects in existing code during case troubleshootingProvide status updates and next steps to internal partners, carriers, clients, and brokersCollaborate with Account Managers, Engineers, and clients to determine best-practice EDI setupsServe as a technical resource for Account Managers and Customer Service RepresentativesJoin conference calls with clients, carriers, brokers, sales, and prospects regarding connectionsKeep primary contact information for each third-party vendor up to dateTrack vendor release dates, obtain updated file specifications, and assess impacts on connectionsModify existing connection code as requested by clientsTest connections to ensure accurate data transmissionMaintain ongoing learning of new EDI technologies and templatesSupport monthly Open Enrollment renewals by updating production files and scheduling OE files, with year-end priority Key requirementsExperience in a software and/or service company environmentSQL (preferred)EDI experience (preferred)1–2 years of benefits experience (preferred)AdaptabilityAlignmentCollaborationMS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) for data comparisonSalesforce (case/project management)SQL
