Exstream Developer

We're seeking an experienced Exstream Developer to join a growing team supporting a leading short-term disability management platform. Due to an increase in project volume, the team is expanding to help build and enhance customer communications through scalable document and template solutions.Location: Remote (U.S.)Pay Rate: Up to $90/hourDuration: Through December 31, 2026 (with potential for extension)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM ESTStart Date: ASAPThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the full lifecycle of communication templates—from development and configuration to API integration and deployment. Success in this role comes from being technically strong, learning quickly, and taking ownership of solutions.What You'll DoDesign, build, modify, and maintain communication templates using OpenText ExstreamDevelop dynamic templates that leverage APIs to populate customer-specific dataConfigure report files, data sections, and document generation workflowsWork with Interactive Document Generation (IDG) and Communication Center componentsCreate scalable, reusable communication templates for enterprise document generationCollaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality communication solutionsSupport deployments, releases, testing, and ongoing template enhancementsTroubleshoot template functionality and data integration issuesRequired QualificationsHands-on experience developing within OpenText Exstream (required)Experience creating and maintaining complex communication templatesStrong experience integrating APIs into document generation workflowsExperience with enterprise Customer Communications Management (CCM) platformsExperience with:OpenText EmpowerInteractive Document Generation (IDG)APIs & integrationsReport File ConfigurationData SectionsCommunication CenterContent AuthorDeployment & Release ManagementPreferred ExperienceInsurance, benefits, or absence management platformsFinancial services or highly regulated industriesEnterprise communications platformsExperience with FINEOS or similar absence management systemsWhat We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate can confidently explain how they've designed Exstream templates, integrated API-driven data into communications, and managed template deployments in a production environment.
