LocationPlainview (Long Island)Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Group & Events Sales Manager to drive group bookings, corporate events, social gatherings, and revenue growth for our hotel. This position is ideal for a sales-focused hospitality professional with strong local networking and client relationship skills.ResponsibilitiesGenerate new group, corporate, social, and event business for the hotelProspect and develop relationships with local businesses, organizations, and event plannersManage inbound sales inquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookingsConduct hotel site tours for prospective clientsPrepare proposals, contracts, and event agreementsCoordinate event details with hotel operations and banquet teamsMaintain client relationships to encourage repeat businessMeet monthly sales goals and revenue targetsAttend networking events and build community partnershipsTrack sales activity and maintain organized client recordsRequirementsMinimum 2 years of hotel sales and/or event sales experience requiredHospitality industry experience strongly preferredStrong communication, negotiation, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and generate new businessProfessional appearance and customer-service mindsetExperience with group bookings, catering sales, or event coordination preferredLocal market knowledge of Long Island business and event community is a plusCompensationSalary only to startNo benefits offered at this timeOpportunity for growth based on performance
