Corporate Engagement Manager

Job OverviewThe Corporate Engagement Manager is responsible for cultivating, strengthening, and strategically managing relationships with corporate partners to advance ASM's mission and increase financial support for ASM. This role develops and manages corporate partnerships and revenue-generating collaborations in support of ASM's key programs and events, monitors industry trends, and serves as a liaison between ASM and corporate partners. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship-builder with strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills.Accountabilities (are the critical activities and results the position is held accountable to produce)Project ManagementProgram ManagementGrow the OrganizationNetwork Building & EngagementEssential Functions (defines the critical end results expected of the jobholder related to the accountabilities above)Identify, cultivate, and steward corporate partners whose operational and/or funding strategies align with ASM's mission and/or programs.Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective partners and conduct outreach about sponsorship and/or long-term engagement opportunities.Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate partners, ensuring strong relationships and consistentCoordinate with other departments (e.g., Publishing, Meetings, Scientific Units, ) to ensure unified engagement with corporate partners and to promote current offerings and inform the development of new ones.Align corporate partnerships with ASM's strategic priorities, programs, and growthCollaborate with other departments to integrate industry insights into organizational planning andDevelop and manage corporate partnership programs that offer unique benefits toPlan and support industry-focused events, including partner engagement and on-siteAnalyze partnership performance and industry trends to inform strategy and leadershipThis position description should not be construed to contain every function/responsibility that may be required to be performed by an incumbent in this job. This requires a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup, including standard equipment such as a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headset.
