Occupational Therapist Assistant

The COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct occupational therapy rehab care under the supervision of a licensed OT, following all legal and organizational standards.Must be NBCOT certified upon hire; renewal is optional.Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.State-licensed and in good standing; CPR certification required.One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome.Proficient in Microsoft Office and communication skills.Participates in community health projects and collaborates with patients, families, and staff.Maintains confidentiality, adheres to policies, and demonstrates professionalism.Essential functions include following treatment plans, charting, using therapy software, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring safety.Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move intermittently during shifts.An equal opportunity employer.
