By integrating these services, we address the diverse needs of our patients and support our mission to: "Enrich Every Life We Encounter from our employees to our patients and those who love and care for them."Job SummaryAddress patient's performance to support engagement in occupations that affect health, well-being, and life qualitySelect appropriate occupational therapy treatment model, method, and approach to direct the process of interventionsApply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) Teach patient's new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable componentsAssess patient's home and other environments and advise on alterations consistent with their needs and capabilitiesRecommend adaptive equipment and train in its useGuide and educate family members and caregiversObserve, note, and report on progress of long and short-term treatment goalsPerform other duties as assignedDesired Skills & QualificationsGraduate from a two-year college level program approved by the American Occupational Therapy AssociationCurrent Licensed, registered of Certified in the state of practiceMinimum of 2 years related experience preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with different types of personalitiesAbility to exercise initiative and independent judgementEffective verbal & written communication & time management skillsValid Driver's License (clean record) & reliable transportation.Proof of current auto insurance & registrationValid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help)Current CPR Certification (we can help) & Negative TB Test (we can test)Make a Difference with Aegis!
