Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel contract at a community hospital in Lexington, NC, requiring at least 2 years of OR circulator experience and an active NC or compact RN license.Job Details• Works in a 5-OR, 2-procedure-room surgical department at a 94-bed community hospital with no trauma designation,• Surgical specialties include general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, podiatry, pediatric dentistry, burn, ENT, pain, and vascular cases,• Average of 23 patients per day,• Circulator role requiring hands-on experience across the listed surgical specialties,• EMR: Epic,• Schedule operates Monday-Friday, with shift times of 0630-1500 or 0630-1700 (10-hour day shifts),• On-call required every 8th-10th weekend and 1 weeknight per week for 5 out of every 10 weeks,• Weekend rotation is call-only, every 8th-10th weekend,• Travelers are expected to cover 75% of holidays,• No floating required,• Schedule is set on a 6-week cycle,Job Requirements• Active NC or compact RN license required,• Current BLS certification required,• Minimum 2 years of OR experience in the specialty area required,• Circulator experience across the listed surgical specialties required,• Epic EMR experience,• At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN,• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration,Additional Information• Responsible for circulating across a variety of surgical cases including general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, podiatry, pediatric dentistry, burn, ENT, pain, and vascular procedures,• Department support is available,• Orientation includes facility new employee orientation (NEO) plus 2 days of departmental orientation,• Green scrubs are required and provided by the facility,• Free parking is available on-site,• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted,• Must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year following a permanent position before being eligible,• First-time travelers are not preferred for this position,
