Specimen Shipping & Receiving Technician

UC Davis Turlock, CA Specimen Shipping & Receiving Technician Salary or Pay Range: $27.59/hr. - $32.85/hr. – Please note: This position is subject to a Departmental Budgeted Salary Range of: $27.59/Hour - $29.41/Hour, commensurate with educational background and relevant working experience. THIS POSITION IS PERMANENTLY LOCATED IN Turlock, CA. Under general supervision, perform receiving and shipping services for CAHFS Turlock. Responsible for entering client/animal/specimen information, test assignment & retrieving results using the laboratory information management system (LIMS). Responsible for processing specimen samples, distributing to appropriate departments for testing and/or sending out to reference laboratories. Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position • No Minimum Education required. • Experience providing excellent customer service to clients. • Experience working in an environment with frequently changing priorities and work interruptions, and skills to effectively shift priorities and prioritize a heavy workload to meet required deadlines, while providing attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. • No minimum knowledge, skill or ability required.
