Production Services Supervisor
POSITIONProudworks is seeking a Production Services Supervisor to provide direct supervision and training for workers with disabilities in a light manufacturing work center environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, including quality control, materials handling, and recordkeeping in accordance with company standards and regulatory practices. You will work closely with other team members to meet consumer goals, ensuring a safe and productive environment while performing direct demonstration training for a client population diagnosed with developmental and intellectual disabilities.Job DutiesProvide direct supervision and specialized training to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities within a manufacturing settingManage production recordkeeping and maintain strict quality control standards for all work center outputsOversee material control, including shipping, receiving, and the manual handling of production suppliesMaintain safety awareness and ensure all health and housekeeping standards are met within the facilityOperate company vehicles as required to support departmental needs and logisticsAdapt to and learn a wide variety of job requirements to effectively lead diverse production projectsMove consistently about the production floor to provide hands-on assistance to clients and staff membersPerform direct demonstration training to help clients reach specific goalsExecute physical tasks such as bending, crouching, squatting, and pushing wheelchairs without restrictionComplete other duties as assigned or required to support the overall goals of the production departmentKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively and function as a collaborative member of a professional teamProficiency in performing duties within a labor-intensive assembly and light manufacturing environmentPhysical stamina and upper body strength to move or assist clients with disabilitiesCapability to stand for prolonged periods, defined as over 8 hours per day, while walking consistently to meet job requirementsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. on some occasions as part of daily production tasksQualification RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredValid driver’s license with a clear driving record for insurability purposes6 months of experience in logistics, retail, or customer service is preferredAbility to be licensed and certified as needed for specific areas of responsibilityPrevious experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valuedPrevious experience with forklift operation or supervisory roles is considered a plusAbout ProudworksProudworks has been serving individuals and businesses in Northern Kentucky since 1973, initially established as the Boone Adult Work Activity Center (BAWAC), led by our founding President & CEO, Ken Schmidt.
