Your success is our success.DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:Assemble standard production and customized aircraft furniture.Job ResponsibilitiesPerforms a variety of diversified bench assembly operations on basic complexity aircraft furniture requiring basic tolerance fitting, adjusting and the ability to work from basic instructions and making of minor decisions, using minimal judgment. May work under the guidance of higher grade Final Assembler. Installs mechanisms, drawers, latches etc. Assures proper operation of all equipment and complies with worker’s personal protective gear requirements. Touchup paint as necessary. Operates screen print tools to apply verbiage detail to furniture. (ex. 20lb Weight Limit) Use of adhesives, resins and epoxies. Operates basic power and hand tools such as table saws, drills, grinders, sanders, wrenches and screw drivers. Responsible only for own work. Performs other related duties as required.QualificationsEDUCATION:Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or bronze level WorkKeys certification. Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class preferred.Experience6 months of assembly or building experience.Working CondiditonsSomewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust and noise.
