Manufacturing Engineer (Tooling)
Job Summary:Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with strong shop-floor experience in tooling and fixture design. The role focuses on designing manufacturing, assembly, welding, and inspection fixtures using SolidWorks, improving production processes, and driving Lean/continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Design 3D fixtures, assemblies, and fabrication drawings using SolidWorks and GD&T.Support fixture trials, validation, and shop-floor troubleshooting.Conduct Time Studies, Line Balancing, VSM, and capacity analysis.Identify bottlenecks, waste, and process improvement opportunities.Develop Standard Work and Video Work Instructions.Perform RCA and support Kaizen/continuous improvement activities.Improve productivity, quality, and process capability through effective tooling solutions.Required Skills:SolidWorks, Fixture Design, GD&T, Shop-Floor Experience, Time Study, Line Balancing, VSM, Lean Manufacturing, Work Instructions, RCA, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement.Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
