Kids Coding Instructor 'Sensei'
Responsive RecruiterCode Ninjas is the nation's fastest-growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 5–14 learn to code the way engineers actually learn: by building, breaking, debugging, and shipping video games they love. Kids can't wait to come back. Parents see the real upside — confidence, logic, math, problem-solving — as students progress from white belt to black belt. Our core promise is simple:Kids have fun. Parents see results.(Yes, it's on the walls. We mean it.)The MissionWe're looking for a Sensei who brings builder energy into the dojo every day. You're not just "watching kids." You're coaching young engineers through real creative problem-solving — helping them turn ideas into working games, stuck moments into breakthroughs, and "I can't" into "watch this." If you love teaching, mentoring, and building sharp problem-solvers (and you don't mind a little chaos with a lot of high-fives), this is your role. What You'll DoMaster the curriculum and level up your own coding + game-design toolkitCreate a positive, high-energy, safe environment where kids want to buildCoach students one-on-one and in groups — diagnose skill level, unblock stuck ninjas, celebrate winsSpark curiosity: turn bugs, failures, and half-built ideas into engineering lessonsGive parents clear, confident tour feedback so families see the value fastOwn the floor: opening/closing duties, clean dojo standards, smooth day-to-day opsKeep the team tight with daily manager updates and weekly progress reportsYou're A Great Fit If YouHave real experience with kids 5+ (mentoring, coaching, tutoring, camps, classrooms, etc.)Are naturally good with people and thrive in public-facing rolesCollaborate well and make the team betterKnow coding/tech — or can pick it up fast and enjoy the learning curveBring playful energy and a builder mindset to a fast-paced environmentGet energized by creative problem-solving, not just following a scriptWhy This Role Is Actually FunYou're teaching real skills through games, not worksheetsEvery day is different: new projects, new bugs, new "aha" momentsYou get to coach the engineering mindset early — curiosity, persistence, systems thinkingYou're part of a team that takes kids seriously as buildersStrong performers grow into bigger leadership opportunities in-centerBottom line: If you want a job that feels like coaching a junior engineering squad disguised as a game studio, apply.
