Maintenance TechnicianLocation: OnsiteFind out if this opportunity is a good fit by reading all of the information that follows below.Shift: Day Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMPay: $26/hour (firm)Type: Contract-to-HirePosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support and maintain conventional and fully automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on production machinery, facility equipment, and building utilities to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain, troubleshoot, and repair conventional and automated production machinerySupport facility equipment, utilities, and building maintenance needsDiagnose equipment malfunctions through observation, testing, and operational analysisPerform cycle testing and operational checks on production equipmentRead and interpret electrical schematics, machine manuals, diagrams, and manufacturer documentationExecute repairs and maintenance activities in accordance with established proceduresMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentAdapt to changing priorities and production demands as neededWork on ladders, scissor lifts, and in confined spaces when requiredAssist with emergency repairs and support overtime needs with limited noticeQualificationsMinimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong troubleshooting skills involving electrical and mechanical systemsExperience with:Electrical systemsMotors and motion controlServo systemsHuman Machine Interfaces (HMIs)Automated manufacturing equipmentAbility to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documentationVocational, military, technical school, or specialized industrial maintenance training preferredFactory-sponsored maintenance training or certifications are a plusSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision xaygatp Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under production deadlinesReliable, punctual, flexible, and team-orientedPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 50–100 pounds occasionallyAbility to bend, squat, twist, climb, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shiftComfortable working on ladders, in scissor lifts, underneath machinery, and in tight spacesAbility to stand and move throughout an 8–10 hour shiftWhat We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance professional with strong electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
