Delphi Developer

Salary: $93,600 - 114,400 per year Requirements: We require strong hands-on experience with Delphi, spanning Delphi 7 through modern XE, 11, and 12 releases.We look for a solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles.We expect experience with VCL and/or FireMonkey application frameworks.We require practical knowledge of SQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.We need experience working with REST APIs and web services.We value familiarity with XML and JSON data formats.We look for proficiency with Git or comparable version control tools.We expect understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile delivery practices.We require strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause problem-solving abilities.A bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline is preferred.Experience supporting and enhancing legacy enterprise applications is a plus.Familiarity with DevExpress, FastReports, or similar third-party Delphi libraries is advantageous.Experience with modernization, integration, or migration initiatives is beneficial.Knowledge of C#, Java, or .NET is considered an additional asset. Responsibilities: We develop and support desktop and client-server applications using Delphi and Object Pascal.We analyze business needs and technical specifications to deliver effective solutions.We write clear, efficient, and maintainable code.We diagnose, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.We modernize and upgrade legacy Delphi systems.We connect applications with databases, APIs, and external third-party platforms.We tune software for better performance and scalability.We contribute to code reviews, testing activities, and deployment efforts.We prepare and maintain technical documentation.We work closely with QA, business analysts, and other cross-functional partners.
