You’ll work directly with clients, lead litigation strategy, conduct depositions and hearings, and collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff — without micromanagement or unnecessary bureaucracy.Our probate litigation practice handles contested estate and trust matters involving fiduciary disputes, inheritance conflicts, undue influence claims, and high-conflict family dynamics.This is a fully remote position for attorneys licensed and based in Florida.ResponsibilitiesManage probate, estate, and trust litigation matters from start to finishAdvise clients on case strategy, risk, and next stepsDraft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and related legal documentsRepresent clients in hearings, court proceedings, and negotiationsCollaborate with probate administration team when litigation matters overlap with active estate administration.Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other toolsWork closely with support staff to maintain organized files, meet deadlines, and move cases forwardSupport efficient case resolution while maintaining high service standardsQualifications Required:Active Florida Bar membership in good standing5+ years of direct Florida probate litigation experienceSignificant experience handling contested probate matters, trust disputes, hearings, depositions, and motion practiceAbility to independently manage active litigation matters from intake through resolutionStrong courtroom presence, legal writing, and client advisory skillsPreferred:Experience handling complex probate or trust disputesExperience with probate administrationEstate planning experience is a plusCompensation & Benefits$140,000–$220,000 base salary depending on depth of probate litigation experience, complexity of matters handled, and level of independent case management.Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirementPTO + CLE budget for continuing educationWhy Join Miami Family Law GroupWe're a growing firm with a strong reputation for high-quality legal work, and we're looking for a senior attorney who wants to be a cornerstone of that growth — not just another hire.Substantive, complex work — You'll own 40–50 active probate and trust disputes at any given time.Average case value: $15,000 - $20,000. Paralegals and admin staff handle scheduling, document management, and deadline tracking.Intentional growth — We're adding 2–3 attorneys over the next 18 months. This role is part of deliberate practice expansion.Direct client relationships — You'll build real relationships with high-net-worth families navigating difficult moments.
