Food Service Manager (School Cafeterias)
Founded in 2008, Butter Beans provides nutritious, wholesome meals for charter schools, private schools, and summer camps throughout the New York City and tri-state area. In addition, Butter Beans operates corporate cafeterias and offers catering services at notable institutions like the New York Hall of Science Museum in Queens and UNICEF.
Butter Beans seeks a full time food service manager for charter and private schools customer in New York City (multiple locations).
Work schedule Monday - Friday, 6am - 4pm
Skill Requirements:
Food Handler License (REQUIRED)
K-12 experience in a private school setting (REQUIRED)
Significant experience in the following (3+ years)
Culinary training and background
Customer and account management
Staffing management and mentorship
School food operations and management
Menu planning
Quality control
Cost management (food and labor)
Inventory management
Event planning and catering
PC and software skills
Through the school year and summer camp programming
Reporting to the director of operations
