Butter Beans seeks a full time food service manager for charter and private schools customer in New York City (multiple locations). Work schedule Monday - Friday, 6am - 4pm Skill Requirements: Food Handler License (REQUIRED) K-12 experience in a private school setting (REQUIRED) Significant experience in the following (3+ years) Culinary training and background Customer and account management Staffing management and mentorship School food operations and management Menu planning Quality control Cost management (food and labor) Inventory management Event planning and catering PC and software skills Through the school year and summer camp programming Reporting to the director of operations Attributes: Passion Strong confidence Coachable Leadership Communication Customer centric Team centric Professional Organized Salary: $60,000 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Shift: 8 hour shift Morning shift Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: supervisory experience in school food service: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: Food Handlers Card from the New York Department of Health (Required) Ability to Relocate: Manhattan, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
