CNA Position in Breckenridge, MNJob Title: CNA Profession: Nurse Aide Specialty: LTC/SNF Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: MN CNA License required Certifications: BLS Certification required Must-Have: 2+ years of experience in nursing homes in Minnesota; PointClickCare experience Description: Unit notes: Department: LTC CNA No clinical involvement. Has a home-like work environment. Strong teamwork and work ethics. # of Beds/Residents: 40 Electronic Medical Record: PointClickCare Ratios: RNs: Days 1:20, Nights 1:40; CNAs: 1:10 Common diagnoses/types of patients include CHF, COPD, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and diabetes. Minimal IV medications. Charge Nurse oversees the unit. Shifts & Scheduling: 8 or 12-hour shifts available. Cycle scheduling is in place. Weekend requirements involve working every other weekend. Holiday requirements include working every other holiday. Scrub color is flexible; any color or pattern is acceptable. Orientation involves 2-4 days specific to the unit/department. Cancellation Policy: The facility can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment and 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks. Charting System: PointClickCare (PCC) BSN is not required. License must be valid and submitted. Trauma Level: CAH Care Setting: Acute Shift Notes: Nights are 6a-6:30p, 6p-6:30a, 6a-2:30p, 2p-10:30p, 10p-6:30a - cycle scheduling plus every other weekend and holiday. Required Certifications: BLS Certification.
