See below for additional job notes; Internal Job Description ****AFFILIATE MUST ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT CREATED/REGISTERED TO RUN THE MN NETSTUDY PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A CANDIDATE**** Department: LTC RN *Required Certification: BLS* NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT - Experience or 'Must have' skills: pass meds, supervisory skills, previous nursing home experience a plus, self motivated - # years’ experience required?: 1 - Previous Travel experience required?: No - Type of Facility (Nursing home, skilled care, assisted living, memory care?): Nursing Home - Free-standing facility or part of the acute hospital?: Attached to the hospital, ER, ab, imaging, pharmacy, therapy and walk in clinic - # of Beds/Residents: 38 Residents - Private/Semi-private rooms?: Private Rooms - EMR: Point Click Care - Ratios: Day/Evening shift ratio 1 nurse, 2-3 cnas and 20 residents, NOC shift ratio 1 nurse, 2-3 cnas and 40 residents - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: COPD, dementia, Parkinsons, MS, CHF - Job Duties: med pass, wound care, fole care, ostomy care, supervise CNAs/TMAs - Are there IVs or titratable drips?: No - Do RN's read strips?: No - Physician availability after hours?: Yes - Medication Dispensing System: Blister pack cards - Pharmacy on-site?: Yes - Shifts Details: 8hr or 12hr shifts - Do you allow self-scheduling or Block scheduling?: Block Scheduling available based on need - Weekend Requirements: Every Other - Holiday Requirements: Every Other - Call or Standby Requirement?: No - Floating Requirements: None - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: As many orientation shifts as needed Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year RTO needed upfront - Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
