Details Work in the Imaging Nursing Unit of an acute care hospital setting in Gastonia, NC Patient population is primarily adults, with some pediatric patients (infants and children undergoing MRI with anesthesia) and both inpatient and outpatient cases Imaging modalities include CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and Interventional Radiology Schedule is four 10-hour day shifts per week (0700-1730) Weeknight on-call hours are 1730-0700, up to one weeknight per week Weekend on-call rotation every 5th week, covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (1730-0700) Requirements Active RN license in NC or a compact state license currently in hand Current BLS certification required Prior Interventional Radiology or imaging nursing experience required Additional Information Responsibilities include pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing radiology services or stress testing, as well as intra-procedure patient monitoring across various imaging modalities No time off permitted on holidays, including the day before and the day after each holiday American Traveler Job ID P-683773.
