Company DescriptionOur client is an agency specializing in the conceptualization, production, and staging of very high-profile events for luxury brands. With a history dating back to 1989, the company operates across several key markets globally, including Europe and Asia, and is now focusing on expanding its footprint within the US market, particularly in high-end event production.Objective of the RoleThe General Manager will be responsible for leading the strategic growth and operational success of our client's US presence. This role involves a hands-on approach to business development and client management, ensuring exceptional delivery of services aligned with luxury standards. There is no permanent team supporting the role locally. This GM position is acting as a sole contributor for the US marketing and will use resources from HQ in Europe and a network of local contractors.Ideal ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in luxury event production or a related field, coupled with a robust professional network within the luxury, fashion, and entertainment sectors. They should be capable of leveraging their connections to secure high-profile contracts and foster long-term relationships with premier brands. Fluent in English AND French would be a strong plus.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive business growth strategy to advance the company's position in the US market.Identify, engage, and secure new luxury clientele, prioritizing high-end brands that require elite event production services.Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients to ensure sustained partnerships and repeat business opportunities.Collaborate with global teams to align business strategies and guarantee exceptional event execution.Represent the company at significant industry events to build brand recognition and establish credibility in the market.Oversee operational and financial performance for the US division, with a focus on profitability and growth.Manage the existing team and recruit additional personnel as necessary to support business expansion. RequirementsMinimum of 10 years' experience in the luxury industry, high-end hospitality, or a related discipline.Established network and portfolio of clients within luxury brands or sectors, including fashion houses and lifestyle entertainment.Demonstrated success in business development and sales, with a proven ability to secure substantial contracts.Entrepreneurial mindset with a capacity for building and expanding a new business unit.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Solid understanding of the US luxury market dynamics and key industry players.Experience in budget management, P&L oversight, and operational governance.Ability to navigate diverse cultural frameworks and manage cross-border operations.Fluent in English AND French would be a strong plus
