11-50About the RoleThe Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead the establishment of a new organization dedicated to addressing the dual crises of home affordability and climate resilience. The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, capable of shaping the organization's direction, operations, and culture from the ground up. This role is pivotal in creating a clear vision and core strategy that will define the organization's impact on homeownership affordability and climate resilience. The Executive Director will be responsible for building the organization's foundational structure, setting both short-term and long-term goals, and developing an effective Board of Directors. A key aspect of the role is to establish a research agenda focused on advancing new solutions and to work with various stakeholders to advocate for changes that support the organization's mission.Candidates for the Executive Director position must have a unique blend of leadership acumen, strategic vision, and a deep passion for creating change in the housing and climate sectors. The ideal candidate will have a background in business, public policy, or nonprofit management, and a proven track record of translating vision into actionable goals. A strong understanding of the socio-economic and environmental factors contributing to the housing affordability crisis is essential. The role requires exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a problem-solving approach.
