We are building the vehicles, infrastructure, and operational expertise that connect and protect assets across the Earth–Moon system.Who We’re Looking ForQuantum Space is seeking a Facilities Manager to own the operation, reliability, and expansion of our engineering and test facilities. This role is critical to enabling hardware development, integration, and test by ensuring infrastructure is robust, safe, and scalable.Where You’ll Make an ImpactOwn facility operations: HVAC, electrical, compressed gases, vacuum infrastructure, and general utilitiesEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements (OSHA, NFPA, local codes)Plan and execute facility upgrades to support spacecraft development and testCoordinate infrastructure needs with engineering teams (power, cooling, vacuum, test setups)Manage vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and capital projectsDevelop and manage maintenance programs and facility reliability plansSupport lab buildouts, test stand installation, and infrastructure integrationManage budgets, schedules, and project execution for facility improvementsWhat It TakesBS in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)5–10+ years managing technical facilities (lab, aerospace, manufacturing, or similar)Strong knowledge of building systems and infrastructureExperience with contractor/vendor managementStrong organizational and project management skillsWork location within the LA areaNice-to-Have ExperienceExperience supporting aerospace or test facilitiesFamiliarity with vacuum systems, cleanrooms, or specialized labsExperience with CMMS systemsWhat You’ll GetOwnership – Real contribution to flight hardware early in your careerMentorship – Direct learning from experienced spacecraft engineersGrowth – Clear path to subsystem ownershipCompensation – Competitive salary, equity, and comprehensive benefitsLocation: Hawthorne, CACompensation: $80,000 to $125,000 Annual Salary Depending on ExperienceAdditional RequirementsTo comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including ITAR, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required authorizations.
