Irrigation Technician

The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the service, maintenance, installation, and operational integrity of commercial and residential irrigation systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset. You will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure irrigation systems operate efficiently, protect plant health, and meet company quality standards. This position offers a dynamic, hands-on work environment with opportunities for long-term stability and skill development. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair all components of underground irrigation systems Troubleshoot electrical issues, leaks, pressure inconsistencies, wiring, valves, and piping Test and adjust irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution and system performance Collaborate with landscape technicians, crew leaders, and operations teams on job execution Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe and working condition Deliver professional, customer-focused service while representing the company with integrity Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols Perform additional operational duties as assigned Skills Strong working knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape maintenance standards, and installation best practices Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently Customer-service mindset with a professional demeanor Willingness to learn, grow, and expand technical skills Position Requirements Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record Demonstrated experience in irrigation diagnostics, repair, and system troubleshooting (preferred) Backflow Certification required or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Proficiency with computers, mobile devices, and the ability to learn internal software systems Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 pounds Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks for up to 10 hours per day Comfort working outdoors in varying and extreme weather conditions Compensation & Benefits Weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Employer-paid life insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid holidays Employee referral bonus program And Much More!
