Lead Accountant - Accounting OperationsAn opportunity has arisen within our accounting team for a dynamic and driven Accounting Professional to join as an Accounting Lead.This position requires a flexible professional, who can drive change, identify, and resolve issues, is a problem solver and is able to work with multiple stakeholders.The Lead Accountant will support branch accounting operations while using advanced problem-solving skills, solid verbal and written communication skills, excellent relationship building skills, as well as strong leadership and team management skills. This position will have supervisory responsibilities for general accounting functions.In the Role:Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members through on-going coaching and development to retain talentManage and/or participate in company projects and initiativesProvide accounting oversight of daily banking activity and month end financial reportingAnalyze and review journal entries and reconciliationsAssist with requests from internal and external auditorsConduct detailed research and analysisHandle Coordination and Collaboration with technology and treasury partnersRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting5+ years of accounting experience2+ years of supervisory experienceAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel)Experience with Automated reconciliation systems such as Blackline or Frontier preferredFlexibility to handle multiple projects and changing prioritiesExcellent communication skillsThe ability to work independently and yet collaboratively to positively affect the team dynamicsLocation: Irving, Texas - Hybrid Tues-Thurs in officeOur Las Colinas Office offers some unique perks.
