Jr. Project Manager - Construction

Must live in the Atlanta area to be considered for the role. POSITION SUMMARY: The Associate Project Manager is responsible for project coordination and execution. This position requires a high degree of maturity, ethics, and professionalism to ensure control of the company’s expenditures. The APM is responsible for managing projects from inception to completion.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Manage the project, ensuring strict adherence to company policies regarding contractor selectionMeet with customer representatives, architects, and engineers to establish project requirements, specifications, and schedulesMonitor and maintain the project scheduleServe as a liaison between MZ, contractors, and MZ customersEnforce contractual requirementsReview and approve all change ordersExecute all contract documentsManage project-specific reporting, orders, support incidents, completion, and closeoutManage Subcontractor Invoicing/Customer Billing (where applicable)Order and manage equipmentImplementation of an effective project management strategyProvide Crews to Subcontractors with shipment information for the productEnsure Crews have updated plans and manuals for their productsCoordinate Crew arrival with a pre-call and scope to appropriate store contactsMail out badges, manuals, and plansMake Crew Member BadgesPOSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in retail or construction project management.Special Skills/Qualifications: Must function well in a fast-paced environment with high energy and a high sense of urgency, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects simultaneously, Strong interpersonal communication skills. Thorough knowledge and understanding of installation practices and techniques. Ability to prepare project documentation and direct project meetings. Strong analytical and planning skills, Proficient with MS Office Products and Outlook. Must be able to read floor plans and construction documents.
