Job SummaryGeneral Social Science/History Teacher- VACANCY NOTICE & JOB DESCRIPTIONMay be assigned to Sheffield Junior High or Sheffield High SchoolCATEGORY: CertifiedCONTRACT PERIOD: 9.5 month/187 days for the 2024-2025 School YearQUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must hold appropriate Alabama teacher certification with certification endorsement in general social science grades 6-12 OR History and Political Science. Applicant should be able to motivate all students to want to learn, be willing to be involved in total school program, and be willing to integrate technology into instructional delivery. Must be willing to attend advanced placement or laying the foundation (LTF) training if required.
