We are currently increasing our workload and need additional resources to satisfy customer requirements. This Electrical Engineer will play a vital role on a team that currently performs all tasks required evaluate, design, and produce reverse engineering solutions. This engineer will have opportunity to lead in each phase throughout the process to get from legacy to FFFI replacement. Identifying, defining, and solving complextechnical problems which require a high level of ingenuity and innovationEncouragesoptimum design within project schedule and funding limitations Interacting frequently as the organizational representative with the customer in the collectionand translation of customer requirements to defined specifications Making frequent contactwith customers, teaming partners, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain/exchangeinformation, provide technical direction, and assist in the resolution of technical issues Developing and delivering complex technical presentations to high level program management and customers Leading major program and/or design reviews and major proposalactivities Performing extensive research and complex analysis on a major project to enhance thetechnical and economic development of the product and/or services; completed reports orstudies may be deliverable engineering products to the customer Providing functional and technical guidance to engineers Providingleadership andtechnical direction for a project teamas a lead or technical specialist #LI-JC1RequirementsMinimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10+ years of work-related experience Application of complex, technical professional disciplines requiring a four-year degree or equivalent and the extensive, applied use of related concepts, practices, and methods Advanced level of proficiency to apply broad knowledge and experience Analytical skills Administrative, communication, leadership, short-term planning skills, and problem-solving skillsDesired SkillsProficiency in one or more of the following skills are desired:Circuit / hardware design:PCB Design Tools (Autodesk Fusion / Altium Design) Component SelectionFPGA (Firmware) Design in VHDL / Verilog RF engineering:Digital signal processing RF and/or digital hardware design and integration Waveform development and modeling Electronic Warfare systemsProficiency in the one or more of the following toolsets:Modeling Software: MATLAB, SimuLink, MathCAD Radar Signal and Data Processing ToolsetsAbility to read engineering drawingsClearance InformationSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVELTravel RequirementsPotential for travel opportunities to support evaluation, integration and testing Maximum 20%About UsScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
