Job Summary The Community Outreach Specialist plays a vital role in fostering relationships between the organization and the community. This position is responsible for developing and implementing outreach programs, managing projects, and engaging with various stakeholders to promote artistic community development initiatives and create events. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for music and community development, particularly in areas related to the arts and business financial development. Responsibilities Develop and implement community outreach programs that align with organizational goals. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and adherence to objectives. Collaborate with local organizations, schools, and businesses to promote online ticketing and low-rate financial services. Build your team. Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support outreach efforts. Conduct presentations to educate the community on relevant topics. Gather and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and community needs. Maintain administrative records related to outreach activities and volunteer management. Foster relationships with community leaders and stakeholders to enhance program visibility. Skills Strong project management abilities to oversee various initiatives effectively. Experience in program development tailored to meet community needs. Proficient in administrative tasks including record keeping and reporting. Knowledge of addiction counseling principles or social work practices is preferred. Excellent volunteer management skills to engage and motivate team members. Ability to market programs effectively within the community. Understanding of public health issues and their impact on the community.
