The facility operates a busy surgical program known for its advanced robotic procedures. Unit Information: The unit has 24 beds and a dedicated staff of approximately 42 members. Staffing typically includes a combination of nurses and nursing assistants. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:4 or 1:5 for optimal care. The electronic medical record system in use is Cerner. Required Skills: Candidates must possess a valid RN license and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include chemotherapy certification. Typical procedures performed on the unit include pelvic exams and thoracentesis. Ideal candidates are team players and demonstrate a willingness to learn. Basic hospital policies and guidelines will apply. Staff members are required to work a set number of weekend days per schedule. The dress code for RNs includes navy and white or a combination of both colors.
