Custodial Worker - Utility/ Floor Care (Mon-Fri, 6am-12:30pm)

Location: Carl B. Stokes US CourthouseShift: Monday- Friday, 6:00am-12:00pm. Some weekends for project work as requiredFLSA: Nonexempt**Please note: To begin the federal clearance process for this position, you will be required to present a Real ID (indicated by a star at the top of ID).The general custodian/ utility and floor care professional will be responsible for completing the following job duties:Complete assigned custodial responsibilities in a commercial cleaning account.Responsible for completing all tasks assigned in the specified allotted time and for ensuring a high level of quality in all tasks performed.Conduct regular checks and clean-up of outside grounds.Complete thorough cleaning and policing of the garages in the morning/afternoon.Empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; empty and clean ash trays and cigarette burns. Handle recycling materials.Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.Clean, dust, and wipe furniture.Sweeps, mops, scrubs and sanitizes bathrooms. Refill restroom dispensers.Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools: buffers, power vacuum, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, etc.,Asist with snow removal as needed.Must select proper chemicals, control dilution ratios and use proper techniques for the area cleaned.Follow all manufacturers recommendations for use of all cleaning solutions.Properly stock cart.Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, events, etc.Follow all instructions of the Account Manager.Follow the daily job routine in the order it is outlined.Use the correct step-by-step procedures for each cleaning task.Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment.Inform the Account Manager of any equipment malfunctions or unusual occurrences on the job.Ensure a level of cleanliness which meets the quality expectations of the customer.Maintain all equipment, supplies, and supply rooms in an orderly fashion.Regular attendance.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a positive manner that gets along with customers, vendors, program participants, co-workers and supervisors.Responsible for following agency safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment.Prior floor experience preferredAbility to provide a valid REAL ID to initiate the federal clearance process.Must be able to pass background checks as required by site.Previous custodial experience preferred.In order to be eligible for hire, applicants must complete all questions on the application and sign the application
