This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial health of a dynamic tech company that values innovation and integrity.Key Responsibilities:Financial Oversight:Manage and oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.Budget Management:Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads.Financial Reporting:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or relevant standards.Audit and Compliance:Coordinate internal and external audits; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.Internal Controls:Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial processes.Policy Development:Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and systems to support sound financial management.Team Leadership:Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff, promoting professional development and high performance.Stakeholder Communication:Present financial results and analysis to senior leadership, board members, and other stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred)CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including management rolesStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory complianceProficiency with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or ERP systems)Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skillsAbout Us: Merit Technologies has been a leader in innovative tech solutions for over 15 years, providing exceptional service to our clients.
