Need to Be Open To Shiftworking with a Fortune 500 Company that is opening in Summerville Maintenance Technician PositionShift: Rotating shift Will be12 hour Sun-Wed (12 hour Day/ 12 Hour Night) and Wed-Sat (12 hour Day/ 12 Hour Night)Pay: 32.50 an hour or 42.40 an hour Top Skills: Troubleshoot and repair: electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.Automated conveyors systems experienceComplete preventative maintenanceSecondary Skills – Nice to HavesConveyor, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematic, motorsJob DescriptionThe Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) will be responsible for the following:Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment (Ex: conveyors)Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and proceduresPerform battery changes, and preventive maintenance on batteriesEnter downtime data in daily log, complete PM sheetsManaging work orders within a CMMSElectrical, knowledge of basics componentsTroubleshoot and identify problems with equipmentTrack and store the departments inventory, including spare partsBasic QualificationsMRTs MUST HAVE at least 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive & preventative maintenance procedures.2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading2+ year knowledge with electrical and electronic principles2+ year experience of following and demonstrating safety standards1+ year experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experienceEducation:High school or equivalent diploma Industries & Equipment: Candidate from Distribution, Logistics,Manufacturing, Industrial industries performing maintenance on complex systemsand industrial equipment (running diagnostics, inspections, troubleshooting,repairing, creating work orders), specifically experience with conveyors andother material handling equipment (MHE) – Including Controls & Robotics Preferred Qualifications: Able to troubleshoot basic input and output function of building operationsExperience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Continuous improvement mindsetWillingness to learn and grow within Amazon RMEExperience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standardsAssociates or higher degree grom a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field2+ of experience working with PLC based controls systemsExperience with robotic operation and maintenanceWork Environment: Candidates need to be okay with their performance being tracked by data and numbers (they do not micromanage but they will have a system in place to understand if you are meeting expectations)Large distribution facility with high speed, automation equipment, mostly with robotic components.Need to be ok walking 10,000 steps per day & 49lbs at a time.
