At the heart of our operations is the Operations Department, which manages all purchasing activities and coordinates closely with department heads, manufacturing, receiving, and accounting.We are currently seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our growing team and support day-to-day purchasing and logistics activities across the organization.Position Summary:The Operations Coordinator is responsible for preparing and distributing purchase orders, managing vendor relationships, tracking shipments, and ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment. This role is critical in maintaining the efficiency and integrity of our purchasing process and requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and distribute purchase orders across multiple departmentsMaintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers and vendorsTrack and monitor purchases from initial order to final deliveryConfirm pricing, availability, and product specifications with suppliersSchedule and coordinate deliveries to align with project timelines and installation schedulesCross-reference shipments with purchase orders to ensure accuracyMaintain purchasing records, price lists, and order confirmations (acknowledgements)Resolve delivery issues, shortages, or damaged goods with vendors and department managersSupport accounting with invoice processing and payment follow-upEnforce company purchasing policies and proceduresAttend weekly operations meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvementsRespond to inquiries from suppliers and internal team members regarding order status or changesReport and follow up on all non-conforming products to ensure resolutionQualifications:High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or higher preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or OperationsStrong verbal and written communication skills are essentialProven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentNegotiation skills and supplier management experience preferredProficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is a plusDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and administrative abilitiesCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary (commensurate with experience)Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) benefitsPaid sick leave, holidays, and vacation (after 60 days of employment)How to Apply:If you're ready to join a stable and growing company with a strong reputation in the design industry, we want to hear from you!Please submit your resume and salary requirements for immediate consideration.NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE.
